Param Pujya Aghoreshwar Avdhoot Bhagwan Ram Ji

Param Pujya Aghoreshwar Avdhoot Bhagwan Ram Ji born in a Kshatriya clan in a village named Gundi under Arrah (Bhojpur) district of Bihar province. Aghoreshwar Mahaprabhu's parents were very religious.Due to not having any child for many years, his parents used to be engrossed in the worship of Lord Shiva. His father Babu Baijnath Singh ji used to get up early in the morning at four, bathe in the Ganga and worship Lord Shiva for hours. One day in the morning on the banks of the Ganga, his father had the darshan of a divine Mahatma. The father bowed down to him and narrated his agony and begged him to have a son. Mahatma ji gave him the blessings of having a son and left for Ganga bath. After that, few days later, mother had a vision of Lord Shiva in her dream. In the dream itself, Lord Shiva granted the boon of taking birth from her womb. After a certain time, Lord Shiva was born in the form of a child from the womb of that mother. He was a prodigious child. Immediately after birth, he sat in the cradle, a light was burning in his face, seeing which the women who were helping in the delivery got scared. But the mother knew that Bholenath himself had taken birth in her house. His father passed away in his childhood. He was brought up under the care of his mother and grandfather. Grandfather named him Bhagwan Singh, who later became famous as Bhagwan Das and later as Balak Aghoreshwar Bhagwan Ram. From childhood itself, the fame of his divine qualities and miracles started reaching far and wide. When he touched a sick person in his childhood, his disease used to go away. At the age of seven, he left his home and started on the path of spiritual practice. After receiving initiation from the most respected Baba Rajeshwar Ram ji in the world's oldest Aghor Peeth, Krin Kund, Baba Keenaram Sthal, Bhadeni, Assi Ghat, Varanasi, you got engrossed in Aghor Sadhna. You remained engrossed in Aghor Sadhana for many years in the crematoriums, hills and forests of Vindhyachal on the banks of Ganga ji. You earned immense power by doing Aghor Sadhana. After that, on 21 September 1961, an organization named Shri Sarveshwari Group was established by you at Rajghat, Padav, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh with the aim of serving the poor, helpless, afflicted and weak. Avdhoot Bhagwan Ram Kushtha Seva Ashram, run by this institution, in a period of 30 years from 1961 to 1990, completely cured and rehabilitated about two and a half lakh leprosy patients. This generous achievement of your service to humanity has been mentioned in golden letters by the Guinness Book of World Records. You opposed social evils in the society. Opposing the dowry system, you helped lakhs of poor girls married without dowry. Rising above caste, creed etc., you told humanity to be the biggest human religion. You taught people to walk on this path by giving the message of unity, brotherhood and mutual love. Under your guidance, you did many important works for the bright future of children and upliftment, respect and development of women. The immense human service and public welfare work done by you was accepted and rewarded with great respect at the national and international level, whose number is very high.
